What is the price per-person

Between 250-300 per plate of six. Sides are similarly priced.

what are the work hours

11AM to 11PM (Last Order 10PM)

How much per person

700¥/p should be enough to have a far generous lunch

Do they have non-pork options here?

They have vegetable sides and rice. No vegetarian Goyza, all Goyza include pork. Even their bean sprouts are normally topped with meat.

Do you have vegetarian gyoza (no meat)?

They don't :(. They only have one type (beef) which can be either fried or steamed. The only things veggie were something like pickled cucumber and cabbage (could be wrong, memory is hazy) which are intended as accompaniments, not their own dish.

how much does the food cost

it's pretty fairly priced. you can get a 6 piece for less than $3 US dollars... menu items are more or less than $5 US dollars...

Is there an email to contact this restaurant?

Highly unlikely. If you want a reservation they don't take them, it is show up and queue.

I'm sensitive to smoke. Is this place non-smoking?

There is a no smoking side, but it's all in one room so it depends how sensitive to smoke you are.

Owner was snobbish and made snide remarks as we ordered 2 portions of gyoza. Will not recommend simply based on the service of the owner

Amazing gyoza at really affordable prices. ¥290 for 6 pieces of delicious gyoza. The restaurant also have a place to hang your jacket if it gets too warm inside. Waiting time to get a table was relatively fast (depending on how fast their customers finish their meal). A must try if you're around Harajuku area.

Very average. The gyoza are not flavoursome enough and they are watery. There is nothing special about them - it would be very easy to find a better gyoza place to dine, so do that.

Short menu, decent dumplings, cheap prices, long lines. They allow smoking inside - common in Japan, and won't be a problem for some people. But if you have asthma and the people next to you are chain-smoking, it sucks. I've been a few times, and there's not always smokers, but I probably won't roll the dice on this place again - there's better dumplings out there.

Cheap? Yes. Long line to get seated on a Saturday night? Yes. Fast service? Big NOPE! If you're hungry, bring a snack for the long wait in line to get seated. Hopefully it's enough as you wait a long time for food after you order. Food is cheap, and servings are pretty small. Just order 2 of everything. Food tastes pretty good (not great) but the value is good. I don't know why this place is rated so high.

Cheap and tasty. Couldn’t spot any locals inside... only tourists. Well, it was Halloween in shibuya... that’s probably the reason. The bean sprout salad was really good!

It’s literally just... gyoza. Probably not worth waiting in a line over 5 min for, but they are quite yummy if looking for a quick snack. Sitting at the counter you can watch them prepare them; it’s a pretty bulk operation. (choice of two different kinds, all are frozen beforehand). The 4.1 star rating for this place seems a bit skewed given what it is— nothing extraordinarily special

Dumplings were decent nothing particularly special. Reasonably cheap. 1 star comes from service as we were greeted with hostility from the start to the end of the meal. Waiter forgot to bring one of our dishes and needed to be reminded twice and still tried to charge us extra for it.Overall unpleasant experience would not recommend

An odd place to be sure. Tasty food but lacking the usual hospitality of Japan. The people were fine (more like service in the UK) but the food was good and cheap. For the price we paid I can't really complain.

We had the steamed original, pan fried original and the pan fried leek. The gyoza filling were exactly the same between steamed and pan fried. The dumpling was properly seasoned that you don't really need a dipping sauce, even though they are available. The skin was thin and springy, it kept it's shape and wasn't too overwhelming. The pan fried ones had a deliciously crispy bottom that added an extra layer of crunch to the gyoza. All in all, we really enjoyed it!

Some of the best gyoza I've had. Very simple menu, which is sometimes the best. I think I ate upwards of twenty gyoza here, and I wasn't mad about it. No English is spoken and very little is understood, so don't be afraid to practice your Japanese. Otherwise, be patient and expect to point and count out how many of everything you want.

A place for inexpensive gyozyas. There are only a few items on the menu but they make them well. The food isn't bad but it isn't a must try either. If you need something to tie you down in-between meals and are budget conscious, this is the go to spot.

Not a big deal shop think they're big deal. Attitude problem waiter. I left without even stepping into the shop. Been to so many restaurants in Japan, big to small, historical to modern, luxury to simple, popular to quiet ones, We enjoy every single one of them. Seriously, until I came to this shop. Our VERY 1ST encounter with such rude waiter at this restaurant in Japan, a mandarin speaking waiter.

There was no queue when we went around 3-4pm. Can’t imagine how people can queue for hours for this kind of quality of gyoza and service. I have tried gyoza at many ramen shops around Japan, including Tokyo, Hokkaido and Okinawa. My bf and I ordered pan fried (2 types of fillings) and boiled dumplings to try. We noted inconsistencies in our yaki gyoza compared to other tables. Ours was “pale” (literally) in comparison. The outer skin was not as crispy as I hoped for. However, the filling was juicy. I’d rather head to Okinawa’s Danbo ramen to eat my gyoza. The cashier did not even say their usual thank you greeting expected of a Japanese joint after we made payment.

Came based on the reviews. The placed was busy but we did not have to wait too long for a table. The menu was basic and very straight forward. We could see the dumpling cooked fresh on the grill. The dumplings were light and tasty. However, no disrespect to the restaurant but they tasted like the frozen dumplings you can buy from the store and pan fry yourself at home, so I am not too sure what the hype is about here. Food came quick and the service was okay. Noticed this place was a bit dirty as I looked around waiting for my dumplings.

Not bad but clearly not that incredible either. The garlic gyoza are unexpectedly common, not tasty enough. The original on the other end are pretty good, steamed or fried. Prices are totally correct but service is average. There seem to be a good working atmosphere in the staff team but they're quite closed when they talk to the client. I guess people waiting in line and having a full restaurant can be stressful but we really felt uncomfortable here compared to other (also crowded) places around Japan. Don't bother waiting to long for it, but if the queue is small you might give it a try.

Got here before lunch, so no need to wait or anything. Got the beanspouts, cucumber, and some dumplings. Beanspouts were pretty nice, a lot of water at the bottom though which was a bit strange. Cucumber was pretty nice too with the miso sauce. Could use a bit of salt on the cucumber though (or maybe that's just a personal preference)The dumplings were pretty ho hum. Firstly, when it comes to the steamed dumplings- they aren't steamed, but rather boiled. This is just a mistranslation in to english on the menu though as far as I'm aware. The dumplings are not the thickest and so when they are boiled, it loses quite a bit of structure. Also got one variety of each fried gyoza. Again, felt like the filling could use a bit more salt, but also the dumpling itself tasted a bit watery/waterlogged. Not the best gyoza around, but wasn't too expensive so can't complain too much. Come if you are in the area, but I wouldn't make an effort to eat here.

We waited about 30-45 mins to get inside for dinner. The place was completely packed and we were seated by the kitchen bar which was pretty cool as the kitchen is in the centre so you can watch the staff prepare your gyozas. We ordered both the original steamed and pan fried gyozas and they were both pretty good, but not good enough that I’d recommend anyone to wait this long for a table. However, the food wasn’t expensive at all and it’s a good place to grab some gyozas and a beer if you’re in the area.
